About

The 3-day residential event was focussed around 8 key themes linked to different examples of good practices and to the 5 steps of the participation ladder. The young female leaders took part in a mixed timetable of outdoor activities (including Zip Wire, Stand-up Paddle Boarding and Crate Stacking) plus some more structured workshops and social activities, trying new things, developing new skills and making new friendships throughout the event.

 

Feedback

Attendees were asked to reflect on the past 3 days on a scale of 0 (not at all) to 10 (totally agree).  The % of young people scoring very highly (I.e. 9 or 10)

89% agreed that they had learnt new methods

78% agreed that they use the handbook

70% agreed that they have learnt new skills

87% rating the overall rating of the training

100% would recommend the training to others
